Get Your Kids Ready for the First Day of School: Free Checklist

back to school checklist pdf

Are you ready for the school year to start?

No? Me either.

And when I start to feel panicky and unprepared for something, it always helps me to make a list.

So that’s what I did.

I created a Back-to-School Checklist. I included things I need to do well in advance of the first day of school as well as things to do the night before so the kiddo’s first day will have a better chance of getting off to a great start.

I’m sharing this checklist with you, too, so you (and your kids) can feel more prepared for the transition back to school.

Whether you’re getting the kiddos ready to head to a traditional school, or you’re starting a year of schooling at home, I think you’ll find this checklist useful.

This free printable pdf was first offered to my subscribers who get free access to my resource library. But now I’m making it available to everyone no strings attached. Just click the button to get your copy.

If you are excited about the first day of school, you might also be interested in this “All About Me” printable. It’s a fun way for kids to start the school year. It gives you a “snapshot” of what your child is like during this one moment in time and would fit perfectly inside a scrapbook or photo album as a keepsake of this year.

It can be filled out on the first day of the school year (or sometime during the first week), or you can have the child fill it out in advance of the first day and pose with it in their “First Day of School” picture.

To get your copy of the All About Me pdf printable, simply subscribe to my newsletter using the subscribe box at the very bottom of this post. Once you confirm your subscription, you’ll be sent the link and password to gain access to the free Resource Library.

I hope you and the kids have a great first day of school!

See you in the Library!
